Leading the way in Lawrences revitalization is owner Chet Sidell, who was presented with the Charles W. Elliot II Award for his vision and excellence in community planning. Chet purchased the mill in 1993 and completely restored the building. Today the mill sets the standard in the Merrimack Valley for historic renovation and is considered one of the most prestigious addresses in Lawrence.

Chet Sidell is a visionary who is passionate about his Lawrence neighborhood. Since arriving in 1975 to start a ladies apparel manufacturing business, Chet has purchased and restored mill buildings that were ready for the wrecking ball. Today he is one of the most respected individuals in the community, and his buildings are the focal points of the Lawrence Gateway District.

Gary Sidell has worked with Chet since 1993. A graduate of the University of Vermont with an MBA from Babson College, Gary has dedicated his career to reinventing the family business from apparel manufacturing to real estate development and management. Currently he manages all aspects of the business in his competent, approachable way. |
